New Treatment! The Vampire Facial

August 11 2017

Okay, we know it’s not quite Halloween yet, but we’re so excited to introduce the vampire facial! Vampire facials shot to fame in 2013 after Kim Kardashian posted a photo on Twitter of her after undergoing treatment, and celebs have been loving them ever since.

What are Vampire Facials?

Professionally known as Platelet Rich Plasma, Vampire Facials are designed to generate new collagen when infused into the skin, promoting skin rejuvenation. The high platelet concentration functions as a matrix that stimulates the growth of new collagen and revitalizes skin tissue leading to naturally smooth and firm skin. The facial treats skin tone and texture, fine lines and sagging skin, puffiness and dark circles, and generally rejuvenates.

How does it work?

Basically we produce this super cool product in our bodies called PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). This miraculous stuff does wonders to your skin when concentrated and injected into the face. That’s all we need from you is a simple blood sample! We inject this PRP into the facial skin to stimulate deep cell processes promoting new collagen and elastin fibres to give you a plump, healthy, youthful glow.

Are you sure it’s safe?

Yes! The facial is used on thousands of patients worldwide, and has been shown to be both safe and effective. Vampire Facials contain only autologous components and no severe adverse reactions have yet been reported. We even harvest the PRP from your own blood to reduce risk of reaction. We will carefully draw the two vials of blood needed. Our new clinic nurse is professionally trained to carry out the vampire facial (along with many other treatments!), so you’re in very good hands.

If you’re thinking of getting the treatment, just give us a ring or send us an email and we’ll be more than happy to give you more information. In the meantime, check out our Facebook and Instagram for before and afters!
